The anaerobic digestion site near Rathven

The site area will be approximately 7.5 hectares in total.

The facility will be staffed during the hours 07:00-19:00 Monday to Friday with reduced hours on the weekend, except during peak harvest periods when working hours would be extended as deemed necessary.

Digestates and feedstocks will be transported via farm tracks where possible to reduce traffic on local roads.

The planting of wildflowers, new native trees and hedgerows will minimise the visual impact of the site but will also result in significant biodiversity net gain.

We process only agricultural and distillery waste, as opposed to putrescible food waste, which allows us to avoid issues of odour at our sites. We will be strictly monitored to ensure minimal impact on local residents.
